Meet Patricia "Jersey" Sebold, co-founder of One of Us. With a decade-long career in digital marketing, Patricia has mastered the art of SEO across various industries. Her passion for sports marketing was ignited when she stepped out from behind the computer to advocate for a partnership with San Diego Wave FC, leading her to oversee exciting sports activations and boost brand awareness.

As a Brasilian American who grew up in New Jersey, futebol has been a lifelong passion for Patricia. She's played since she was four, inspired by legends like Mia Hamm, Marta, Ronaldo, and Roberto Carlos. The lack of women's sports broadcasts during her childhood fueled her dream to create a space where women's sports are celebrated and enjoyed by all.

Driven by her love for sports, marketing, traveling, amazing food, and great cocktails, Patricia envisioned One of Us as more than just a sports bar—it’s a place where women feel empowered and celebrated. Meet Kalani Millsaps, co-founder of One of Us. Growing up in Seal Beach, California, Kalani was always on the move—if she didn’t have a book in her hand, you could probably find her playing with a ball. She explored every sport she could, from tennis and basketball to softball, volleyball, golf, and soccer. Eventually, she focused on soccer and softball, which she still plays recreationally and she recently rediscovered her love for golf. The friendships she’s formed through sports remain among her most treasured connections.

Beyond her passion for sports, Kalani has a wealth of experience across many industries. She spent nine years as a server while attending college and law school and also worked in the action sports industry handling marketing and PR for brands like Quiksilver and Roxy. She currently litigates workers' compensation cases for professional sports teams.

One of Us is the culmination of Kalani’s dream—a sports bar where women’s sports take center stage. Frustrated by the lack of spaces consistently showcasing women’s games (with sound!), she envisioned a place where fans could gather without needing to request a channel change, free from judgment or heckling, and feel an instant sense of belonging.
